Update 21/04/2020 –

Free School Meals and Voucher Codes –

At Middleton Primary we have implemented the voucher scheme for our free school meal children, over the last two weeks, and it is working well for the majority of our parents. Although we are aware that there have been some issues, the voucher suppliers, Edenred, are working hard to resolve the issues and all appears to now be working well.

Please understand that this scheme is for children who receive benefits-related free school meals and not children in EYFS and Key Stage 1 that are receiving Universal Infant Free School Meals.

We understand that for some of our parents circumstances will have changed and you may now be eligible for free school meals when you weren’t before. If you think you may be eligible you can apply here – https://www.leeds.gov.uk/residents/council-tax-and-benefits/free-school-meals

You can also read the FAQ from Edenred regarding the free school meal voucher scheme here – https://www.edenred.co.uk/Documents/DfE/DfE_FreeSchoolMeals_ParentCarerFAQs.pdf.

Update 22/03/20 –

Dear parent/carer

Please do NOT send your child to school on Monday 23 March and beyond unless you have received confirmation email from the school.

Please note that the school building and grounds will NOT BE OPEN to any other children or visitors (unless pre arranged). It is critical that we take every measure possible to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus and protect the children in our care and the staff who will continue to work.

To support students who are not in school due to illness or self isolation we now have an area for all year groups containing online learning to be completed. These links can be found HERE
