Happy World Book Day!

Normally, we would be saying Happy World Book Day to a hall of children but, as with much in life, we have had to postpone our plans! Over the next couple of days there are two things you can be doing to prepare for World Book Day celebrations in school.

The Book Swap last year was a huge success. We are encouraging all children to look through their book collection and select a book they feel they have grown out of, bring it to school next week and then the following week bubbles will be invited to choose a 'new' book. Please ensure all donated books are in good condition.

Dress as a Book Character fancy dress is back! I know families enjoy this event. Take time to plan your outfits. With most shops closed can you make an outfit? Enjoy being creative!

Important Dates
8th -12th March - Take donated books into class.
19th March- World Book Day Dressing Up Competition.

We've actually done it. We made it to half-term and it has never been more deserved.

A massive thank you has to go to our teaching staff, who have gone above and beyond to support our pupils, and our teaching assistants who have also given their support throughout.

We would also like to thank the pastoral team, kitchen staff, the office staff, the cleaning staff and a special thank you to Mrs Hunt for ensuring that all free school meal vouchers have been delivered and redeemed.

The biggest thank you has to go to our fantastic cohort of children and your parents. You have shown great resilience and have made us all extremely proud during this uncertain time.

Have a wonderful half-term break and hopefully we'll all be together again very soon ❤💙
