⛔⛔ URGENT INFORMATION ⛔⛔As Covid-19 cases are significantly increasing in our local area, can we please remind you that if your child(ren) have been a close contact of a family member/person with symptoms that they must remain at home until a negative PCR test result is received by that person. These symptoms are:• A temperature• A new and/or persistent cough• Loss of taste or smell• Sickness and/or diarrhoea We understand that this may cause some difficulties but it is really important as it helps reduce the spread of infection and keeps us all safe in our community. If you are unsure of whether your child(ren) need to remain at home, please reach out to their class teacher on Class Dojo and seek advice. It is always better to assume that your child(ren) must remain away from school and seek clarification than risk them potentially being asymptomatic and spreading the virus within our community.Just as a reminder, despite the lifting of restrictions on Monday 19th July our governing body have taken the decision to keep the wearing of face coverings on our school site mandatory. This means, should you access our site as a parent or visitor you will be refused entry without a face covering. If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, please ensure you wait by the pedestrian gate if you are collecting your child(ren) and they will be brought to you.As always, we thank you for your cooperation in this matter. ... Let them celebrate and soak in every moment! You can even allow them a late morning on Monday to recover! School will open as normal from 8:50am but children arriving up to 10:30am will not be marked as late and will not miss any lessons. It's 55 years since England reached a major football final so let them watch, talk about the importance of the national anthem, talk about pride and resilience and possibly disappointment. This is a learning opportunity! ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ... See MoreSee Less
